SF is still on top of the cocktail world
If you were on social media this weekend, serious FOMO induced with all the photos of the annual New Orleans bar celebration Tales of the Cocktail. This year, San Francisco took home two awards, with ABV winning Best American Bar Team and Smuggler’s Cove being named Best American Cocktail Bar, as judged by 100 peers across the country.

Add Radish and Osha Thai to the long list of SF restaurants for sale. Osha is going for $300,000, for unknown reasons, while Radish is selling its business because the landlord is selling the property.

Sophia Loren, Lidia Bastianich, more show up for Margrit Mondavi
Napa Valley grand dame Margrit Mondavi is widely credited for being responsible for the area’s cultural relevance, and her 90th birthday party at Far Niente Winery Saturday night was star-studded as proof. Italian film actress Sophia Loren sat by her side, Italian celebrity chef Lidia Bastianich and NYC’s Felidia executive chef Fortunato Nicotra cooked the meal, and Grammy-nominated vocalist Monica Mancini sang two songs while (also Grammy-nominated) jazz player Dave Koz played the saxophone. Mondavi was in good spirits, and as sassy as ever.
El Buen Comer opens for dinner
Previously only open for lunch, the Bernal Heights permanent home for El Buen Comer is now serving dinner, too, Bernalwood reports.
