PACIFIC HEIGHTS—A bit of a chef shuffle is afoot at SPQR, the current darling of the San Francisco dining scene: Daniel Holzman is no longer with the restaurant, according to a tipster. The good news, of course, is that Nate Appleman isn't going anywhere and remains the executive chef at SPQR. Picking up the slack at SPQR is Chris Behr, who will go from executive sous to chef de cuisine; on the A16 side, Liza Shaw will be taking over chef de cuisine duties. In other words, there should be no discernible changes from the outside perspective. Also, in the time it took you to read this, Michael Bauer went ahead and awarded even more stars to SPQR.
