Fro-Yo Wars: Tuttimelon Debuts, Unveils Expansion Plans

The second round of fro-yo openings has begun. Over the weekend, frozen yogurt purveyor and noted Jubili knockoff Tuttimelon opened its doors to the foggy skies of the Sunset. As of last night, they are still offering a 99-cent opening special, and according to the store ads, the fro-yo offerings "improve digestive health." TuttiBonus: no less than eight more branches are in the works around the Bay, including the former Santa Barbara Ice Creamery space in the Marina (2240 Chestnut) and in the current Yoogo space on the corner of Broadway and Columbus.
