Quick Turnarounds: Vicoletto to Open This Weekend
Thursday, May 22, 2008

North Beach: About two weeks after it took the space, and less than a month after Nua shuttered, Vicoletto is already turning around 550 Green Street. According to the new team (which includes owner Francesco Covucci and a chef imported from Naples), they could be open as soon as tomorrow and hopefully by Saturday at the latest. As you can see from the above gallery, virtually nothing has been changed from the short reign of Nua, and the only discernible difference we can find is the Vicoletto name that now graces the old Nua awning. Judgment will be surely reserved until opening, but creativity gets low marks thus far.
