Ethicurean has a nice little recap of Monday's CitySpeaks event that saw Mayor Gavin Newsom sit down with Alice Waters. For the most part, A-Dubs touched on her familiar talking points—French awakenings, Edible Schoolyards, etc.— but also hit on the looming Slow Food Nation spectacular, hoping it will "bring people together to share knowledge and spark new ideas."
