More casualties to close out the year: in Marin, San Anselmo's AVA will not make it into 2010 either. The three-year old restaurant—from another husband-and-wife team in Holly and Dan Baker—will close after service on December 31st. AVA, which stands for American Viticultural Area, sourced all their ingredients from a tight local radius and even had a California-only wine list featuring only family-owned wineries. The Bakers' other restaurant, Marché aux Fleurs in Ross, will stay open. [EaterWire]
