Just when we thought we had Jeremy Fox pinned down, Signore Lucchesi reports he's out from under our noses again as he's decided to move on from the Plum project he was working on with Daniel Patterson in Oakland. Fox will still be doing the fire dinner with Joshua Skenes next week, but then we'll all have to sit tight and wait to see if the deal goes through at the undisclosed space he's currently eying for his own project. So Lauren Kiino has been tossed back to the opening chef slot at Plum until Daniel Patterson finds a suitable sous chef to take her place; and they'll continue to do Monday preview dinners at Il Cane Rosso until the restaurant opens mid-September. As far as Fox goes, let's wait and see.
