1) Dogpatch: Recchiuti's Chocolate Lab (801 22nd Street) is slated to open in early October, serving this menu of light savory bites and chocolate or ice cream creations. [Tablehopper]
2) Dogpatch Extra: The owners of 83 Proof (83 1st Street) have plans to opening a bar, possibly called take over the liquor license at Dogpatch Saloon at 2496 Third Street. [Dogpatch Howler]
3) The Mission: Kink is set to open its bar, Armory Club, in the former Ace Cafe space by the end of the month. Expect a decor in the dark-red, "heavily draped" Victorian vein (with erotic art, natch), and a "serious" cocktail program with a rotating menu. [GrubStreet]
4) SoMa: The new owners of Eagle Tavern hope to have it open by Halloween with a slightly modified bar and "some of the Eagle's ambiance" restored. [SFBG]
5) Castro: New bar owners Brian Tatko and Kelton McMullen are working to open a bar called Roaring Donkey in the former mirror/framing shop at 2349 Market Street. [GrubStreet]
6) Tenderloin: Demolition just began at St. Anthony's Dining Room (45 Jones Street) with a newly constructed dining room scheduled to open in the summer of 2014. In the interim, meals will be served to the low-income and homeless at St. Anthony Foundation headquarters at 150 Golden Gate Ave. [Examiner]
7) Alameda: New owners have purchased Acapulco (2104 Lincoln Avenue) in Alameda. In less than six months, they hope to reopen with many of the menu classics and some new additions, like real margaritas and tortillas made in house. [Tablehopper]
8) Oakland: A.G. Ferrari's Paul Ferrari is a partner in a new restaurant called Borgo Italia, a trattoria set to enter the shuttered B Restaurant space at 499 Ninth Street. [ISSF]
9) Oakland Extra: The fire-damaged CommonWealth Cafe will reopen "soon." In the meantime, they've got a great-sounding pop-up dinner scheduled at Hawker Fare this Sunday. [SFoodie]
