Over ten years after it closed its doors, retractable-roofed restaurant The Patio could return to the Castro scene as soon as this summer, according to the Bay Area Reporter. Owner Les Natali, who's been sitting on the space since 1999, wants to get it up and running, and while he has the backing of Supervisor Scott Weiner, he'll still have to petition the Planning Commission to give him a conditional-use permit for an unapproved addition.
