Congrats to Alice Waters, who made an appearance in this year's Time 100 list of the 100 most influential people in the world. "Alice Waters is generally described as a chef. This is wrong. Alice Waters is a revolutionary who wants to change the world through food," says Ruth Reichl in a tribute. Waters is the only food-related name on the list; it may be Time's way of making up for last year's woman-free "Gods of Food" issue, in which Waters was widely cited as a missing piece. [Time]
