Lights Out: More Restaurants Added, PlumpJack Remains Quiet and Bright

In a show of good sportsmanship and community solidarity, plenty of restaurants continue to join the Lights Out San Francisco cause. Kookez, Massawa, Tortilla Heights and Slow Club are among the many newbies who have hopped on the bandwagon since we checked in last time, but still nothing from the PlumpJack Empire.

About a month ago, when he agreed to turn off the lights at City Hall, Alcatraz, the Golden Gate Bridge and other city landmarks with presumably heavy light switches, Mayor Gavin Newsom had this to say on the matter:

“Lights Out San Francisco is an innovative way to incorporate energy conservation into our daily lives ...This is an opportunity to fundamentally change the way people think about their energy consumption.”
Frankly, we don't understand this one bit. What possible reason could Gav have to keep the PlumpJackers off the Lights Out list? Surely there are only two, three lights max in MatrixFillmore anyway.
