Patio Porn: La Mar Cebicheria Peruana

New, 1 comment

Now this, friends, is how you do a patio. Come spring 2008, this patio on Pier 1.5 will be home to La Mar Cebicheria Peruana, the first American venture by Peruvian celebrity chef Gaston Acurio. The patio, as seen from the shots, is pretty impressive at this point: about 3,000 square feet with sleek wooden handrails, glass separators, and of course, a beautiful backdrop (frontdrop?) of the Bay Bridge, the Ferry Building clock tower and of course, the Bay. It's still unknown how many seats will be involved, but this patio already outshines any at the nearby Ferry Building, not to mention the outdoor seating in Mint Plaza that faces, um, an alley.
