One of the more heavily-anticipated fall openings west of Fillmore has got to be Pacific Catch in the Sunset. Going into the onetime Canvas Gallery space on the corner of Lincoln and Ninth Avenue, the third outpost of Pacific Catch—the others are in the Marina and Corte Madera—is coming along quite nicely. Opening date remains the end of the month, and diners used to squeezing in the tiny Chestnut Street location should be very, very happy to hear that PC3 is already looking rather ginormous in comparison: full bar, private dining areas, open kitchen, outdoor dining, the works.

Entryway or a (very) little nook with some outdoor seating? Right across the street from the park = prime people-watching territory.
