EaterWire: Yoshi's Tickets Going Quickly and MORE

THE FILLMORE—Word on Fillmore is that tickets for next Wednesday's opening night at Yoshi's San Francisco are going quickly. The 8pm show is already sold out, but $100 tickets for the 10pm show are still available on the official site. NORTH BEACH—We are delighted to report that the official name of the Thai restaurant going in at the old Fogon space on Union and Columbus will be named Tuk Tuk Thai. So, you know, small victories. [EaterWire]

CITY-WIDE—Tomorrow marks the city's official switch from plastic bags to paper bags after a city ordinance was passed earlier this year. Oddly enough, the law only counts towards grocery stores, so pharmacy chains and restaurants can still dole out the plastic. As you were. [SFist, Chron]
