Thanksgiving weekend normally marks a peak in the oyster season, but not this year. And it's your fault: "'Restaurant orders for Thanksgiving weekend weren't as big as I expected,' said Hog Island Oyster Company Farm Manager Erik Schlagenhaus. The number of visitors to Hog Island is down too, and Schlagenhaus blames that on misguided public perception.
