All news fit to publish goes in EaterWire. Got some juice? Tips appreciated.

2007_12_eatercontestfigaro.jpgCLUBLAND—Down in SoMa, it seems that Le Duplex will soon change hands and morph into something called Redemption Lounge. No word on any further details, but the pending liquor license transferral is here. Le Duplex's phone has been off the hook (literally; not in the hip way) all day, so anyone with any further info is encouraged to share. Won't you help to sing, these songs of Clubland? Re-demp-tion Lounge. [EaterWire]

CITY-WIDE—Consider this another reminder to submit your finest holiday restaurant and bar decorations to the Eater Holiday Photo Contest. The man, woman or child who sends in a photo of the most ridiculous, outrageous, aesthetically-challenged holiday decorations will receive a cool $100, just like that. All findings should be submitted to sf@eater.com, so do keep an eye out whilst shopping this week. [EaterWire]

SAUSALITO—More details are emerging about Cavallo Point, the new restaurant slated to open in May 2008 and future home to Meadowood's star chef Joseph Humphrey: "The high-end restaurant at Cavallo Point, Murray Circle, will have 100 seats and a view of San Francisco across the bay. Humphrey expects to serve more casual food at the adjacent bar with an outdoor terrace. 'We also have a cooking school where I will do classes, some of them in collaboration with some really great chefs,' Humphrey added. Humphrey officially starts his new gig Jan. 1." [Wine Spectator]

Now, about those Beard Awards... [Well Fed]

THE MARINATonight, do something good for humanity and please stop by the Toys For Tots Party at the Brazen Head: "Admission is FREE. We ask that you please bring a new unwrapped toy for a deserving youth. Enjoy complimentary drinks and hors d’oeuvres. Santa will be there from 6-7:30pm [Ed note: NB, the party goes until 9]. Plus, there will be a raffle for some great goodies." [SF City Dish]
