Report: Luisa's Reopens; Vermin Now Homeless?

Much to the chagrin of the rodent population that called 1851 Union Street home—not to mention voodoo doll-wielding Barleycorn survivors everywhere—we have reports that this past weekend saw the reopening of Luisa's, approximately a week after its shuttering by the Health Department. Emails a Cow Hollow passerby: "Unless it was a ploy by the owners, Luisa's looked like it was back open on Friday night. The lights were on and there was a good number people inside, so it looks like it was back in business. But I still wouldn't put it past them to fake a reopening!!" Is a newly-clean Luisa's back in business? Or has the cover-up taken a silly turn? Stay tuned for further details and/or confirmation; story developing ...
