It's Friday afternoon, and that means it's time to reminisce on the week that was at our sister site and friendly neighborhood blog, Curbed SF.
1) SoMa: In the aftermath of the South of Market fire a while back, the Curbed kids caught some delectable destructoporn at the secret society headquarters on Seventh and Mission. As luck/irony/fate would have it, the firehouse next door was untouched.
2) High Rise Land: As skyscrapers pop up across the cityscape, one engineer is preaching hellfire and brimstone, declaring that when it comes to the new high rises, the bounty of structural shortcomings will lead to more destructoporn when "the Big One" hits. We believe the popular response in the comments was "Whatever."
3) Hayes Valley: The battle for the neighborhood of year has reached its stirring climax! Your winner—and possessor of the Curbed Cup—is none other than Miss Hayes Valley.
