Nancy Oakes, coming soon to the apex of the red arrows.
Nearly two months ago, Eater Staff was fortunate enough to take a tour of the upcoming restaurant within the under-construction Infinity towers. You'll recall that two items resonated loudest at the time: the massive space within and the tease of the involvement of "a name-brand San Francisco chef." Now, this morning's edition of Inside Scoop believes Boulevard's Nancy Oakes to be the chef in question, although nothing has been made official just yet. Apparently, papers are still being signed, and with the Infinity not slated to open until
2009 early 2008, there's no rush. Given the Infinity's proximity to Boulevard, perhaps it shouldn't be much of a surprise that Oakes is probably the "name-brand San Francisco chef." Whatever the outcome, it's high time to add another big-name chef to that condo dining rage.
