A matter of weeks ago, The Hall Company, a New York based public relations outfit set up shop in San Francisco. We're not going to make a habit of welcoming PR shops to the fray, but Hall is a special case. Be careful, members of the press. He'll tell you restaurants are new when they're not, come up with crazy schemes like ribbon cuttings to promote his clients and even grossly overstate the extent to which his venues are even open. He's an evil genius. And now you've been warned. [Eater Staff]
