Looking at both the neighborhood and restaurant, Michael Bauer sees plenty of potential in the Fillmore, as he doles out 2.5 stars to the "enticing package" at Chef David Lawrence's new, still-developing southern hotshot 1300 on Fillmore: "While Lawrence's cooking is part of the restaurant's runaway early success, credit also needs to be given to the designers, who have fashioned an interior that's both celebratory and casual.
