Oenophiles will be happy to know that the PlumpJack Group will be opening a second winery called Cade: "The winery’s proprietors are San Francisco mayor Gavin Newsom and composer and financier Gordon Getty, and the general manager and partner is John Conover, who also manages PlumpJack winery. The name Cade referred to a cask or barrel in Shakespeare’s time; the company is fond of Shakespearean terms such as PlumpJack and Falstaff." But is Gavin more Hamlet or Macbeth?
