Over at Eater SF HQ, the mid-morning's distractions have come in the form of EveryBlock, a new site that aggregates each neighborhood's news in map form. Once you master the finer points of navigation—you can basically filter and/or map based on any category—it's quite simple to pull up all kinds of goodies, including restaurant inspections (pictured), liquor licensing news, zoning agenda items and even our beloved Yelp business reviews. While it'd be nice to be able to see the actual inspection scores directly on the map (i.e., without having to open a new page), EveryBlock looks like it just might be onto something.
