Among other happenings, the hoopla of this week's debuts of Epic and Waterbar have rekindled rumors that San Francisco's current toast of the town, Pat Kuleto, might be want to venture down to Los Angeles: "The rumors have been off and on for nearly 10 years or so, and while dormant the past 3-4 years, they recently resurfaced in conjunction with the Gansevoort project now a memory ... not many steps have been taken yet, but with all the places for sale, it might be sooner than later."
