Mystery Signage: What Does This Sign Say?

New, 4 comments

SoMa: This week has already seen the resurrection of one almost-forgotten project in Valencia Street's Pizzeria, and now, a tipster sends along word of action at another space that we were ready to leave for dead: 660 Howard Street, right around the corner from MoMA and the W Hotel. It's been in the works since (at least) last year and the name on the liquor license is the nebulous Fang. Aside from a few Asian-inspired lights, open kitchen, blond wood fixtures and a (somewhat-appropriate) pet-carrier, the interior doesn't offer many clues to the place's concept, but there's mysterious signage up outside. Our fingers are crossed that it translates to something novel and interesting, or at least entertaining.
