Ever since plans to demolish an entire Sloat Boulevard block were proposed back in May, many have been wondering what would happen to neighborhood staple John's Ocean Beach Cafe, but now the possibility arises that the development would welcome the old-timer in new digs: "Aqua Surf Shop and John's Ocean Beach Cafe, which operate in the buildings proposed for demolition, have been invited to lease space in the new development, if it's approved by The City, developer Kieran O'Carroll said.
