EaterWire: Copia Shutter Likely Permanent, Dine Out Against Hunger

NAPA—Given the chain of events, it shouldn't come as a surprise that the Copia closure is starting to look like it's indeed permanent. Copia wanted a $2 million line of credit in order to stay open after filing Chapter 11, but after its trustee objected, a judge rejected the request, a move that effectively means Copia is over. From its CFO, “At this time, it is highly unlikely that Copia will continue in any form other than to orderly wind down operations." [NVR]

SAN FRANCISCO—Your attention, please: next Thursday (December 18th) is Dine Out Against Hunger, a special night concocted by Scott Youkilis and Michael Pierce.
