SF Weekly pens a lengthy piece on the precarious position of Caffe Trieste, the classic cafe whose bohemian soul is apparently hanging in the bohemian balance It's a tale of family quarrels amid the evolution of North Beach and Trieste. We like the historic aspect of the cafe too, but while the regulars fear that "the small cafe may finally succumb to commercialization," we just wonder if they've noticed that nearly everyone in that 20-minute line for coffee is already a tourist.
