The Wine Industry

Seeing as how Napa's economy mostly revolves around one industry, some are starting to get nervous: "The 1980's were our finest hour because we were the only luxury wine region in the New World. We owned that category ... but the new Young Turk sommeliers are touting things like Riesling, Albarino and Spanish reds for $15 to $25. No, we can't change — but we can redouble our efforts to get more of the top-end business that we used to dominate." Um, wouldn't making more affordable wines be the more logical route here?
