Revisiting the decades-old Harris' Steakhouse, The Punter finds that the old school can provide a breath of fresh air: "By current standards, almost everything about the food at Harris’ is politically and nutritionally wrong. Feed-lot beef finished on corn is an environmental disaster in more ways than I want to detail in a restaurant column ... The mantra of seasonal and local doesn’t apply here ... That’s why I love the restaurant. If you grew up eating this way and you’re still alive, Harris’ does the job better than any other steakhouse in The City." [SFE]
