Confirmed: Morton's Taking Former Disney Store Space

New, 2 comments

Union Square: Way back in May, there were rumblings that Morton's would be expanding into the shuttered Disney Store directly next door, on one of the prized corners of Union Square. The Disney store even confirmed said rumors soon thereafter, but Morton's remained mum. In the six months since then, the space was gutted, and now Morton's finally acknowledges that it's taking it. The new space will double the steakhouse's size and become the main dining room, leaving the current one for overflow. Somewhat related: Morton's will be offering free mini sirloin burgers this Sunday from 5-6 pm to celebrate its 30-year anniversary. So, there's that.
