Palo Alto: We shared the renderings last week, and here we have the first look behind the scenes at the upcoming restaurant by former Google Cafeteria honcho Charlie Ayers. Called Calafia, the 102-seat space is dubbed as an "all-in-one casual dining room, bar and market" and will reflect the style Ayers had at Google with the usual sustainable, local fare with modern twists. More details on the space are available in the above gallery. As you see, the space is nearly complete, with an opening is slated for January.
