Unfortunate name/location aside, Walnut Creek's San Franciscan probably won't be gaining many patrons with this reviewer's euphemistic description of nearly-empty dining room: "We opt to go right and are immediately amazed by how quiet the room really is, despite high ceilings and three other occupied tables. The decor is plain — classic browns and beiges...A half-dozen light bulbs were burned out (and remained so on a second visit), which is hard on the eyes when the lighting already is low. The temperature in the room was uncomfortably cold." [CCT, photo]
