Tracking Report: Tipsy Pig

The Marina: Proving that the Bay Area gastropub movement shan't be isolated to 2008, enjoy the first plywood look at the upcoming project on Chestnut Street. The remodel/gutting began a few months ago in the shuttered Bistro Yoffi space, but last we heard, Nate Valentine, Sam Josi and Stryker Scales are still looking at early '09 as the ETA. Pictured above are a few shots of the before and after of the bar area, but anyone familiar with the space will tell you that the sizable backyard patio is the area with the most potential. Also, the project now has a (very gastropubby) name: Tipsy Pig.
