2008_02_mij.jpgThe first San Francisco location of Made in Japan Teriyaki Experience—the Japanese food chain that's actually made in Canada—was expected to open last week on Kearny and PIne. Now, apologetic storefront signage says permits (or lack thereof) have delayed the opening, but they hope to debut by the 18th at the latest. You'll recall that this is the same chain that hopes to have over 40 Bay Area stores within six years. Canadian fast food teriyaki, coming soon to your 'hood! [EaterWire]
