Hot off the IndustryWire, we have word that the Supreme Court has shot down the GGRA's requests to do away with the health care ordinance: "The US Supreme Court Justice Kennedy has denied the GGRA's application to lift the 9th Circuit's stay order that has allowed San Francisco's Health Care Security Ordinance, including its employer spending mandate, to be implemented while the lawsuit is on appeal before the 9th Circuit ... This means that [the] implementation of the HCSO, including the employer spending mandate, can continue while our appeal proceeds in the 9th Circuit. As you may recall, oral argument in that appeal has been scheduled for April 17." [IndustryWire Inbox, previously]
