Curbed Rumblings: Big Hotel Arrives, Ralph Lauren Denied

It's Friday afternoon, and that means it's time to look back on the week that was at our sister site and friendly neighborhood blog, Curbed SF.

1) It was a big opening week in SoMa. Not only did the Fifth Floor, Luce and Orson all debut, but the InterContinental Hotel also opened. And Team Curbed was there.
2) Pacific Heights played the anti-chain trump card and ousted Ralph Lauren from its cozy confines.
3) Yikes: "A ten foot-long wheelchair ramp in City Hall may cost $1,000,000."
4) Thanks to a public-private partnership between AT&T and the National Security Agency, the Billboard Liberation Front is alive and well.
