Pizza Friday Spectacular

New, 2 comments

Speaking of weekly features, the Pizza Friday show is (still) rolling right along, but today, Mr. Mikey rocks the boat in comparing Patxi's to Bay Area icon Zachary's: "When you taste the deep double-crusted pizza, you might be reminded of Zachary's. In fact, one of the owners, Patxi Azpirox, was a manager there for two years. However, the pizza at Patxi is much better, in my estimation; both the thin-crust, which is generously dusted with coarse cornmeal. and the deep-dish Chicago style, which weighs in at just shy of 3.5 pounds for the smallest one. That's a lot of pizza." [BauerBlog]
