The Bauer's Sunday review hits a biggie in the flashy Conduit, where chef Justin Deering's food plays the starring role, outshining even the Stanley Saitowitz-designed interior: "Taken individually, all the elements are well thought out, but they don't necessarily fit into a coherent concept. The relaxed surroundings give off a casual vibe, while the food has a more serious side. Yet even though it seems a little out of kilter, Conduit might simply be on the cutting edge of another trend: the continual casualization of fine dining." The end result: 2.5 stars. [Chron]
