The Dish Bonus: Poesia's Menu, Revealed!

As mentioned earlier, Poesia opened over the weekend, and now thanks to a tipster, curious folks will be glad to know that we've gotten our hands on the opening menu. In the kitchen is Gregory Leon, ere of Kelly's Mission Rock, and the menu will change on a weekly basis. For those who have already been to the osteria/poetry lounge/bar, do let us know how it went, and if you recited any particularly memorable verses. The menu follows:

ANTIPASTI
Arancini di Riso: arborio rice, smoked mozzarella 6

Insalata di Mare: sea scallops, fresh squid 12

Burrata: arugula, extra virgin olive oil 9.5

Costolette di Agnello: grilled baby lamb chop, roasted bell peppers 12

Zuppa del giorno: white bean puree 6

Carpaccio di Zucchine: parmigiano reggiano, truffle oil 8

Insalata di Barbabietola: roast beets, ricotta salata 8

Pasta al forno: meat balls, soppressata 12

Fusilli al ragu di maiale: pork rib ragu, roasted galic 12

Spaghetti di Mezzanotte: roasted roma tomatoes, black baked olives 10

Gnocchi allo Zafferano: clams, prawns, saffron 15

SECONDI
Pollo al peperoncino: broccoli rape, dry peppers 17

Bistecca al Ciro di Calabria: 12 oz New York steak, red wine reduction 22

Baccala al Forno: pan roasted cod, potatoes and pancetta cake 21
