Via a Cole Valley tipster, we have word that Zazie has shut down operations for about a month, and with the closing comes some cheery shutter signage, the likes of which reach epically perky proportions. Among the reassuring measures explicated: the staff will return "rested and refreshed," everything will remain the same (except the things that will improve), an acknowledgment of those pesky construction hassles, and our personal favorite uber-neighborhoody touch of pep: the offer of recipes that you can prepare at home while Zazie is on hiatus.
