The Shutter: No Name Sushi Vanishes, Leaves Post-It Note

All closure notices arrive via The Shutter. Please report all failures to sf@eater.com.

Yesterday, SFist shed some light on the curious case of No Name Sushi, which apparently shuttered—and judging by the above interior shots, vacated—pretty quickly. The reason why Yokoso (its formal name) disappeared has inspired several SFisters to speculate that it has to do with a fire upstairs that took place last year. Clearly, the rubble has not been cleared and mega remodels are in order, but it turns out the entire building needs work. To be more precise, the entire building needs a new foundation, and in a big production, will be lifted to put in a new one. Also, we're already hearing rumors that No Name will return post-remodel.
