Anchor & Hoping

2008_04_ahope.jpg7x7 sits down for an interview with Doug Washington (Town Hall, Salt House) and asks him all about the group's next project, Anchor & Hope, the upcoming SoMa seafood shack full of Danny Meyer veterans, pretty murals, London nostalgia and cold smoked maple trout. As for the success of the place, here's what he has to say: "... am I nervous about it being successful? No. Am I nervous that we can make money? We have yet to see. I'm not nervous about people loving this; I think it's perfect timing and perfect place for this [concept]; as for whether we're going to make a whole bunch of money, I don't know."
