Those folks across the bridge are fit to be tied with the way Marin has ridiculously delayed the publication of restaurant health reports: "While we are encouraged that Marin officials finally appear serious about getting information about restaurant health inspections posted online, they need to stop dragging their feet and coming up with reasons why it might not happen right away ... Today, the only way to find out how a Marin restaurant or other retail outlet that serves food has fared in the inspections done at least twice each year by the county Health Department is to go down to the county and pore through paper files. In this age of instant information via the Internet, in a county as technologically savvy as Marin, that is absurd. The county promised to have the information available online two years ago." [MIJ]
