Nice weather made a cameo appearance over the weekend, which meant that restaurants were sent scrambling in every which way to provide more outdoor seating for al fresco-craving diners. The above shot was taken at Capannina on Union Street, and while the restaurant gets very high marks for creativity and customer accommodation, we can't imagine that the isolated tiny table next to parked cars, on the other side of the pedestrian pathway could have been all that great. But the photo did get us thinking: our Gatekeepers series sheds some light on the best tables in town, but what's the worst table in town? Ever been relegated to a regrettable table, makeshift or otherwise? Your nominations for the worst table in town to sf@eater.com, please.
