It's Friday afternoon, and that means it's time to check in on the week that was at our sister site and friendly neighborhood blog, Curbed SF.

1) In honor of Earth Day, the California rivalry was renewed, and diligent voters flocked to the polls to determine whether San Francisco or Los Angeles would be the greenest city in the state. SF won in a landslide, natch.
2) Mega drama was at work all week long at the Sunset Idea House (above), complete with neighbor feuds, secret lawsuits, stolen electricity and even some lessons on cement.
3) Speaking of bad ideas, wallpaper.
4) Be thankful you don't have these landlords: "They sabotaged his apartment by cutting through the floor's support beams; when that didn't work, they simply instructed workers to carve right through the floor itself."
