This Friday (April 11th), noted chef, cookbook author, local restaurateur, and all-around organicaphile Jesse Ziff Cool will kick off the new Guest Chef Series at the de Young Museum. Cool will be on hand for a book signing and the usual festivities that accompany such appearances, including menu samplings from her cookbook(s), but the big/fun news here is the de Young food movement. At this point, the Guest Chef Series is a work in progress as part of the Friday night programs at the museum, but the de Young is hoping to make it a regular feature.
