Awe-Inspiring Evolutions: Denny's Becomes Danny's

New, 5 comments

Japantown: We really are at a loss for words when it comes to the events of the past weekend on the corner of Post and Buchanan, but it might be the best thing we've seen all day, so we'll just say it: Denny's changed to Danny's. Seriously. The reason for the switch (according to ... Danny's), is that they wanted to serve "local food" with lower prices. We have no idea what that means—maybe Alice got to them?—but just about everything, from the "Hawaiian meat" to sign placement, is pretty much the same, save one vowel.
