Yerba Buena Tracking: Press Club and Amber India

With several big projects on the way on Yerba Buena Lane, the first two are currently slated to arrive in the next month or so, at least in theory. Up first, in all likelihood, will be Press Club, the tasting room-wine bar-lounge-retail shop combination below the Four Seasons. Soft openings have been had and the largely-subterranean project was originally slated to open last week, but the new (moving target) date is May 22. Mark your calenders, please.

Directly across the way and also hoping to open within the next month is another victim of the DelayWire, Amber India. The first San Francisco branch of the South Bay upscale Indian joint has been pushed back pretty much on a monthly basis since fall. The current ETA is the first week of June, but as you can tell from the interior shots above, it's still very much a work in progress on all fronts. We'd take the over on the first week of June.
