Allow a trip across the bridge to check the progress of San Francisco expat chef Scott Howard, who is settling in just fine at his new gig at Marin's Left Bank: "Although the decor is still the same...the menu looks and feels entirely different. Based on one visit, I'd say some of what's new is terrific. Howard's bill of fare is a sumptuous one-pager with so many choices that - let me tell you upfront - this review only touches the surface.
